A creative organisation rooted in people and place
Common Arts builds creative work that connects people, ideas and communities.
Our work is rooted in Greater Manchester and developed through theatre, audio and shared experience.
Our Mission:
Increase access to arts, culture, and creative participation through the production of creative projects, performances, workshops, and community arts activities.
What we do
Live work
Small-scale and fringe theatre made with care. Often developed through workshops and conversations, and shared in theatres, public spaces and community settings.
Audio
Podcasts and audio work rooted in place and lived experience. Centring real voices and real stories.
Creative training
Workshops for organisations, teams and groups. Using creative tools to support thinking, communication and connection.
Community projects
Longer-term work that builds confidence and access. Participatory, people-led and shaped by the communities involved.
